Civil Engineer
Experience: 1-3 years
Job Description
SARA ABODE is currently seeking experienced Structural Design Engineer for wooden buildings. The Structure Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the work of a design squad on various types of wooden buildings. Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Should be able to independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete the design of the entire structure.
Job Duties:
• Provide sound technical expertise when applying engineering principles, techniques and methods to design of wooden projects.
• Performs complex engineering tasks effectively and accurately
• Review and extracts engineering information from CAD Drawings
• Prepares and reviews structural models using common structural analysis software such as STAAD PRO, ETAB etc.
• Prepares engineering designs computations, sketches, and review final design drawings/documents.
• Liaison and coordination with the Clients as required.
• Provides technical guidance to Design Engineers, Architect working on the same project.
• Establishes the design requirements of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverable for adherence to these criteria.
• Assure design is in conformance with time, cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in terms of quantity, quality and cost to assess whether targets have been achieved and determine where improvement and inefficiencies can be achieved.
• Coordinate the work of the project team with other engineering disciplines through liaison with other professionals.
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate in Civil Engineering or Structural engineering Degree is essential.
Have working knowledge in design and design support works as applicable.
Proficiency in use of structural analysis tools and software.
Excellent Communication skills.
Prior experience in similar project will be an additional advantage

Job Description:
• Ability to work well with a team and diligently meeting project deadlines.
• Conceptualizing and creating designs, both, manually and through extensive use of CAD
applications & design software platforms
• Site evaluation and analysis of architectural character relevant to social and cultural
heritage
• Prepare detailed designs, based on Architectural controls/guidelines, features and
specifications, pertaining to buildings and various external elements and components such
as common facilities, open spaces, landscape structures and features.
• Preparation of working drawings, detail drawings and shop drawings
• BOQ preparation
• Proposal creation
• Monitor activities & progress through regular site visits & coordination of external services
and contractors
• Monitoring factory production and QC inspection.
• Should come up with innovative solutions.
Education/ Experience.
• B.Arch. from a reputed Institute
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with design, architecture, and project management
teams to understand project needs and deliver accurate, visually compelling 3D visuals.
• Concept Development: Assist in the development of initial design concepts, transforming
them into high-quality 3D assets for presentation purposes.
• Photo-Realistic Renders: Use advanced rendering techniques to produce photorealistic
visuals that accurately represent the design intent, materials, textures, lighting, and
atmosphere.
• 3D Animation & Walkthroughs: Create dynamic 3D animations or walkthroughs to
demonstrate design concepts or product features.
• Visualization Tools: Use industry-standard software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender,
Rhino, SketchUp, V-Ray, Corona, or Unreal Engine for visualization purposes.

Key Requirements:

quantity.

7. Should be able to do the log listing with log working and to understand the packaging schedule
Relevant Qualification:
Bachelor’s in engineering, Architecture, or diploma in equivalent technical degree in Construction
